If you are local and would like to come and see the studio, talk to someone or just browse some artist portfolios before making a decision, then please be our guest. It is against California law to tattoo any person under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. If you are visiting from another state (or country) where this rule does not apply, please take note.
Tattoos can have some very special and significant meaning. They can be timeless tributes and honorable statements…..or you may just like a style of tattoo so much to make it a permanent addition to your body. Collecting different styles of tattoos, from different artists is something that has been happening since the beginning. Not all tattoos have to have a deep meaning and can be more about celebrating a style of art. Whatever your motive for getting a new tattoo, the artists at Captured are all excited to deliver something you can always look at with pride and excitement.
Without a doubt. We provide an immaculate and sterile studio. Everyone at Captured are certified and registered to comply with California regulations. We use single use, disposable needles and tubes which means that every set up we use is new for each client and discarded safely afterwards. The stations are also disinfected before opening and after every procedure throughout the day.
Like anything else you purchase in life, there are various qualities and prices to be aware of. The term ‘You get what you pay for’ is something that relates to tattooing perfectly. We pride ourselves on the high quality of work that comes out of Captured. Unfortunately a high cost does not guarantee good work but a low price will often represent a tattoo of the same quality. Tattoos are permanent and now with more cover ups being done than ever before, we strongly suggest you think about the benefits of acquiring quality work. Pricing will depend on size, style, detail and color and we happy to talk about your options or budget requirements if you have any. For small pieces, we have a shop minimum of $100.
Depending on the placement, tattooing can be uncomfortable and annoying, however 95% of first timers would say the process hurts far less that first imagined. The environment at Captured is something we pride ourselves on making very comfortable for the client, eliminating most of those awkward nervous feelings. We want the process to be as positive as possible and ensure that everyone who walks away with a new tattoo do, feeling glad they walked in.
